Scheduled to take place in Milan from 20 to 23 May 2026, the Summit will bring together scientists, doctors, institutions, companies and organizations committed to building new healthcare models based on the \u2018One Health\u2019 approach, which links human well-being, the environment and social development. For the <strong><em>Need Institute<\/em><\/strong>, this involvement marks an important step forward. The Foundation will have the opportunity to bring its objectives to the attention of the medical and scientific community and the public, with a view to promoting the value of research and the importance of investing in prevention, early diagnosis, and new therapeutic and care strategies. The Foundation has always operated in the clinical and scientific fields, with a particular focus on the biological mechanisms underlying conditions such as Alzheimer\u2019s, Parkinson\u2019s and ALS, in the firm belief that a better understanding of these processes will soon lead to more effective treatments.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>SMART HOME CARE<\/strong> project, funded by <strong>Fondazione Cariplo<\/strong>, will also be presented. The project, which is still active in Milan\u2019s 6th Municipality, aims to enhance services for frail elderly people, assessing the possibility of personalized interventions tailored to the specific needs of individuals.
